In this report, Emeka Esogbue, the Pen Master, writes on how Ibusa people are ruling the world, citing the case of a 14 year old prodigy. The Ibusa people of Delta State have made history, showcasing their exceptional talents and solidifying Anioma’s reputation as a hub for human capital development in Africa.

Ibusa’s impressive track of producing exceptional individuals includes Prof Fidelis Oditah, KC, SAN who graduated with a first-class degree in Law at 20, Late Obi Prof Patrick Chike Onwuachi, DG of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Bose Omolayo, paralympic champion and little Chikadibia Ofili said to have entered the World Guinness Book of Records for his discovery of a mathematical formula.

According to CNN, Esther Okade appeared to be a typical 10-year-old as she enjoyed playing with Barbie dolls, going to the park, and going shopping, but what made her unique was that she was a university undergraduate. Prior to this time, when Esther was just six years old, she earned a C in mathematics on the GSCE followed by an A-grade on her second attempt.

At the age of ten, Esther Okade enrolled at the UK’s Open University to pursue a degree in mathematics. She finished with distinction and a perfect score on one of her exams. The distinguished daughter of the Ibusa community achieved a PhD in Financial Mathematics at the age of 14, having already earned a Bachelor’s degree in the same field. She is also the author of numerous children’s textbooks. Esther Okade dreams of opening her bank.

Further investigations from Pen Master reveal that her father, Paul Okade Jnr from Idumuezeje in Umuekea, Ibusa, is constantly in touch with his family as he travels home regularly and that her mother, Omonefe Okade from Edo State played a great role in nurturing Esther in mathematics. Esther’s sibling Isaiah, is likewise excelling at mathematics.

Many Ibusa indigenes expressed their happiness at the outstanding success of their sons and daughters in various endeavors. They said it is natural with the community with professors nearing one hundred in number.

Mr. Moses Emeagwai, a community member from Umueze, highlighted the Ibusa people’s intellectual capacity to compete in their environments and break ground, while Mr. Tony Okade, who is related to Esther Okade’s father, feels that brilliance runs in the family.

One of the women who wished to remain anonymous adds, “Esther Okade is simply one of the examples of Ibusa strongholds in society.”

“Our Ibusa leaders should give up disunity, unite and take greater interest in the children of the community,” she further said.

“Moreover, the leaders should be happy enough to celebrate those doing well in our name,” she concluded.
